Australian surfer Mick Fanning returned to Australia following his terrifying shark facing in South Africa last week, he was again chased from the water at Hastings Point on the Tweed Coast on Saturday.
The 60 Minutes show sees the Australian surfer Fanning talk about the moment the shark came “right up under my board” while wading out at Jeffreys Bay in South Africa.
Mick Fanning describes his return to the water as “hugely important” to him.
"The ocean has given me so much," he said.
Fanning said it was a "miracle" he survived shark attack.
"The first sight that I got of it was when it came up under my board and was right there," he said.
He shared a picture of himself returning to the water on Instagram, writing: “First surf back. Feel so good.”
